Taking photos is a wonderful pass-time. Whether you do it professionally or just for fun, photography is a wonderful way to capture moments in your life and the lives of those around you. It helps you to recall for years to come, places, people, events and those very special moments which you can share.
With digital photography comes the wonders of digital photo editing. The photo editing world is only limited by the imagination and skill of the editor. Editing programs such as Photoshop make it easier to improve the features of a photograph, giving the photographer more leeway with lighting and exposure and allow for creative licence.
Digital cameras have to "guess" at the proper colour, shading and contrast of the pictures they take. Proper use of photo editing tools can correct and enhance the camera's guesswork, giving you the end result you hoped for when the photograph was taken. If you are using a photo as a work of art, as an enhanced image for personal use such as wedding photos, pets, family portraits etc it is accepted, even expected to enhance it in any way you see fit. You can add those special touches, extra colours, contrasts, different backgrounds, paint effects, frames etc.
Photography is intended to be a record of a moment in time. The ability to edit photographs allows you to have a record in the manner you choose to remember, such as the removal of an unsightly lamp post and also allows for creative processes such as vignettes and black and white photos.
Fun 4U Photography give you shots in the manner you choose. If you choose images unedited and just as the camera saw it, that is what you will have. However, you can request some photo editing according to your personal tastes. So if you would like to have a certain shot in black and white, sepia or with some colour removed and some colour enhanced we can do that. If you want part of an image removed we can do that too. We have a variety of image editing techniques at your disposal, vignettes, glow techniques, colour removal or addition, backgrounds etc. We can even in some cases completely redesign an image, so if you want someone added or removed from a photo or a different backdrop to the shot we may be able to oblige. Fun 4U Photography edit and enhance the photos according to your specifications. We can adjust the photographs according to your exact specifications, or you may prefer to leave it to us to decide how to best present the photograph in its finished state.
We establish at the outset what your view of digital photography is, and keep to the line you set. If you want every photo exactly as photographed, then you get just that.
If you want a little touch up, for example, poorly maintained buildings with peeling paint that detract from the romance of that special photo, we can repair the paint. It could be that the bride had a ‘spot’ on her face on that very special day. (A common occurrence during what can be a stressful period leading up to the wedding). We can remove the blemish so the blushing bride is as beautiful on that day as she is on any other (more if you prefer).
We can remove to some degree (and sometimes completely depending on the image) issues such as: wrinkles, spectacle indents, cuts and bruises, dark circles around the eyes (perhaps from an errant stag night), smudged lipstick, shine on a face, moles, a stain on the dress or suit, a crease, scuff marks on shoes, even remove or add a reflection in a mirror etc.
If you want the full artistic flourish, we can change or remove colours, hues, tints, saturation, levels, apply cropping, flipping and every other technique at our disposal to give you truly memorable pictures.
We can even convert some images to painting style scenes and create photomontages and give you works of art for display.
