OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS

Your guests may have their own cameras and may want to photograph the bride and groom. In the spirit of cheerful cooperation the bride and groom agree to give the photographer precedence over your guests in order to take the photographs required for the wedding services described above. We cannot be held liable for a lack of wedding photos if the photographers work has been interrupted by guests taking their own photos of the bride and groom or anywhere within the photography location.

The photographer is the only authorised photographer for the day. Other professional photographers are not permitted whether official or otherwise, working for pay or otherwise (e.g. separately employed by parents, contracted by magazines or newspapers), unless agreed in writing before the day. Breach of this condition may be deemed cancellation of the contract by the clients.

The photographer is contracted to shoot all photographs relating to the event. No other person is permitted to shoot images for sale or as gifts unless agreed in writing before the day. This includes guests (except for their own personal non-commercial use) and other wedding vendors e.g. a videographer may not shoot stills other than a small quantity to illustrate the video packaging. Breach of this condition may be deemed cancellation of the contract by the clients.

Bear in mind that if others are taking photographs and videos, there is a danger that these people will be in shot and could spoil the photographic opportunities.

NON-GUARANTEE

Every possible care will be taken to produce photographs of all important and special events during the wedding, Fun 4U Photos and Fun 4U Photography cannot place an unconditional guarantee on the above. Fun 4U Photos and Fun 4U Photography will not be held responsible for any ruined photographs due to guests’ (or any other) flashes; or any other ruined photographs due to any other cause in or outside of Fun 4U Photos and Fun 4U Photography control.

MEALS AND REFRESHMENTS

We would appreciate it, if provision is made with your venue to provide the photographer with a hot meal during the wedding breakfast. Where coverage includes up to mid-evening then a second light meal should be available. Where coverage has been agreed to include a photographers assistant then the same conditions apply for this individual.

Non alcoholic refreshment should also be made available to the photographer throughout the day. This is particularly important on hot summer days and or when the event is being held at an outside venue.

AFTER THE EVENT

COMPLETION SCHEDULE

The photographic processing can only start once Fun 4U Photos and Fun 4U Photography receives the order list for the required images. Digital processing takes approximately 2 weeks. Creation of a wedding album takes 2 weeks, enlargements 1-2 weeks or possibly longer when laboratory schedules are heavy.

SAMPLE CD DELIVERY

After the wedding, Fun 4U Photos/Fun 4U Photography can provide a watermarked low resolution sample CD. This contains photographs taken at the event. All photographs will have a watermark embedded, prohibiting unauthorised use. As soon as possible, the client(s) must provide Fun 4U Photos/Fun 4U Photography with a list of desired images to be printed, enlarged and/or digitally manipulated (corresponding to the amount of prints agreed upon in this contract). The list should specify which images should be in colour, black and white or sepia. Printing of photographs cannot commence prior to Fun 4U Photos/Fun 4U Photography receipt of this list. The client(s) agrees if the balance is not paid on initial proof CD delivery,  Fun 4U Photos/Fun 4U Photography will NOT make a final delivery of selected prints, incurring no liability to Fun 4U Photos/Fun 4U Photography and resulting in loss of Reservation Deposit by the client(s).

FINAL DELIVERY

Fun 4U Photos/Fun 4U Photography will deliver the album and any additional material once printing is completed. Fun 4U Photos/Fun 4U Photography will also deliver a proof book of images if agreed. Proof Printing and photo CD or DVDs are normally ready within 14 days of the wedding.

TIME

DVD with photographs and DVD Photo Albums: The Photographer will aim to post the DVD’s within two weeks (usually 5-7 days) of the date of the wedding by recorded delivery or may deliver by hand if local.

Online Photo Albums: Will be available online within 14 days (usually 5-7 days) of the date of the wedding. Bespoke Online Photo Albums will be available within 28 days (usually 14-18 days) of the date of the wedding

Printed Photo Albums: The client(s) may choose a selection (specified in the summary of contract) of photographs for the wedding album. The Photo Album will be posted to the Client(s) by special delivery within 30 days after the photographer receives the client(s) suggestions.

REPRINT ORDERS

Reprints of photos (or additional prints of photos not included in the package, but which is part of the additional low resolution images provided on CD) may be ordered at the following rates:

6”x4” £4, 7”x5” £6, 8”x6” £8, 9”x6” £7, 10”x8” £9, 12”x8” £11, 12”x10” £14, 15”x10” £15

Please note that all prices are subject to change without any prior notice.

Around 200 to 300* images may be presented to you on discs including large high resolution images for use by your photographic printers and smaller sized low resolution images which are perfect for everyday viewing on computer or for sending by E-mail to family and friends.

*The average wedding results in between 200 - 300 images being provided. Whilst it is not uncommon to exceed this amount the total number of images will ultimately be dependent on the photographic opportunities available throughout the day.

You will have unrestricted personal usage of the photographs leaving you totally free to source your own printing and to copy and distribute the images by any means that you wish. You can also purchase one of our beautiful Story book Albums designed in consultation with you.

If you choose to source your own album there are now many companies offering good quality hardback coffee table style photo books that you can design on-line yourself with very simple and easy to use programs. It couldn’t be any easier and the digital image package is just perfect for creating this kind of album.

An on-line photo gallery can also be provided where friends and family can view your wedding images. Please ask.

Placing an Order and Receipt of Goods:  Any alterations to orders must be notified either by phone or email and confirmed in writing within three working days of the order being placed. The photographer(s) will not be held liable for any costs incurred due to alterations to the order made by the client after this time. Email is not a reliable method of notification due to the unpredictable operation of message scanners. You MUST request and receive a confirmation by email if you choose to use this method.

The main wedding image print order may take up to six weeks to complete. Allow 28 days for delivery of other orders.

The photographer(s) must be notified either by telephone or email and confirmed in writing within three working days of the client(s) being in receipt of their order in the case of error, shortage or damage as mistakes cannot be rectified after this period.
